Asahi Kasei has been continuously selected as a constituent of the following ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investment indices:
- FTSE4Good Index Series
- FTSE Blossom Japan Index
- FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index
These indices are developed by FTSE Russell, a member of the London Stock Exchange Group, and consist of companies that demonstrate outstanding ESG practices. The FTSE Blossom Japan Index and FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index are utilized by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) of Japan, one of the world’s largest institutional investors, for ESG-related investments.
In addition to these indices, Asahi Kasei is also included in other ESG-related indices adopted by GPIF, such as:

- MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index
- S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index
