The Asahi Kasei Group’s efforts introduced in the Keidanren SDGs website

Asahi Kasei is pleased to announce that five cases of the Asahi Kasei Group’s efforts toward the SDGs have been introduced to the Keidanren (Japan Business Federation) SDGs website.
The Keidanren SDGs website features cases of innovation contributing to achievement of the SDGs, collected from member companies and organizations of the Keidanren. The website not only disseminates such cases both within and outside Japan, it also serves as a platform for collaboration among various stakeholders such as companies, local governments, and international organizations.
The following cases of Asahi Kasei are introduced in the Keidanren SDGs website.
- (1) Production process technology of electrolyte component for LIB (Lithium-Ion Battery), which utilizes CO2 as a raw material
- (2) Production process technology of polycarbonate (PC) resin, which absorbs/consumes CO2 as a raw material
- (3) UVC LED
- (4) Fresh Logi™ system
- (5) Large scale alkaline water electrolyzer for hydrogen production
The Asahi Kasei Group is working to achieve a sustainable society from the perspectives of “Care for People” and “Care for Earth” while proactively collaborating among other companies and organizations.
