Asahi Kasei has received the Award for Excellence at the NIKKEI Integrated Report Award 2023. Asahi Kasei Report 2023 is an integrated report to provide stakeholders with a deeper understanding of the progress of the company’s medium-term management plan for fiscal 2024, focused on the theme “Be a Trailblazer,” as well as its future management policies. The report features messages from the management and comments from employees.
The President’s message presents recognition of the challenges the company faces in improving its corporate value, and determination to transform its business portfolio. The CFO’s message introduces efforts to improve capital efficiency and approaches to capital allocation. An Outside Director's message describes the status and challenges in enhancing corporate value and strengthening corporate governance.
The company will continue to make efforts to further improve the Asahi Kasei Report to provide useful financial and non-financial information to its stakeholders.
Note: Asahi Kasei Report 2023 has also been selected as one of the Most-improved Integrated Reports in 2023 by the asset managers entrusted with domestic equity investment by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).
